Our home, and Posh Ponies, is located in the beautiful Rogue River valley area of southern Oregon. The small pond in the backyard is full of koi and a large population of very vocal frogs! It isn't unusual to look out and see a visiting heron hoping to find an easy meal.
Savannah
Any one who's been to a Welsh Pony show, where Posh Ponies has been in attendance, has probably met Savannah. Savannah is a Belgian Malinois and is as much a part of the family as the kids! She is smart and beautiful and we love her to pieces!
Savannah has the most wonderfully expressive face. She laughs, pouts, grimaces and smiles. Mostly she smiles.
Tumbleweed
Tumbleweed found his way to our clinic as a sickly little stray. He was nursed back to health and found a permanent place in our hearts and at our home. He can often be found lurking amongst the flowers...we think he knows how lovely they look against his yellow fur!
Posh Ponies is also home to a wide variety of ducks and geese, both wild and domestic. Our pond in the lower pasture is a natural draw for an abundance of wildlife. We thoroughly enjoy watching the antics of these beautiful creatures!
